It’s easier than you think! Listen to my interview with Dr. Sherry Pagoto, licensed clinical psychologist and expert on the psychology of weight loss.

Dr. Sherry Pagoto is an Associate Professor of Preventive and Behavioral Medicine at UMass Medical School. She co-founded the UMass Center for mHealth-Based Behavioral Sensing and Interventions. She is also a licensed clinical psychologist, delivering behavioral weight loss counseling in the UMass Weight Center. Her research is focused on obesity and cancer prevention. She has published over 80 papers on these topics as well as a book called Psychological Comorbidities of Physical Illness.

Dr. Pagoto has earned several awards including the SBM Early Career/Young Investigator Award in 2006, the SBM Distinguished Service Award in 2009, and the Western Michigan University Distinguished Alumni Award in 2011. In her spare time she hosts two blogs on the psychology of weight loss, FUdiet.com and Shrink on Psychology Today.

Dr. Mache Seibel is one of the leading voices in medicine, guiding women on how to navigate menopause and what can be a very confusing time in a woman’s life and health. Dr. Mache Seibel is the Founder of My Menopause Magazine (which you can find on the Apple Newsstand).

Dr. Seibel was selected by his peers as one of the Best Doctors in America.  He is a true pioneer in women’s health and a Member of the Harvard Medical School faculty for 20 years.
