Yes, we know it’s still summer, but now is the perfect time to start planning your fall gardening.

Margaret Roach, from the popular garden site A Way To Garden, joins us to talk must-have tips and time-savers that will help you get your lawn and garden growing the way you want. Margaret was garden editor and later editorial director of Martha Stewart living for more than 15 years. Since 2007 she’s writing and reporting full time from her garden in upstate NY. Earlier this year, her charming memoir, “And I Shall Have Some Peace There,” was published.

And while we’re out in the garden, we’re looking up at the roof. Kate Smith, color expert for DaVinci Roofscapes, walks us through the steps to picking a perfect color.

Mark shares a few of his favorite lawn and garden Finds, including a Jackson wheelbarrow, Core Aerator, and Milorganite.
