All right, Show number three is in the books. What a pleasure to speak with Janice Phelps Williams author of Open Your Heart With Pets - Mastering Life through Love of Animals. Janice is not only an author but a book designer and illustrator as well. She is a blogger for  seattlepi.com and her blog is called Open Your Heart With Pets also! Janice discusses the thought and process behind the writing of her book and how to truely open your heart but in a responsible way. Janice explains the 3 components of pet guardianship as well as "children and pets" and how parents should go through the steps of choosing the proper pet for a child. Janice has had extensive experience with animals of all types including those with fur, fins, and feathers and she talks a bit about them all!
