Linda’s guest is a remarkable woman by the name of Connie Bernstein who was diagnosed with stage four breast cancer in 2003 and in 2006 with a brain tumor. Now in remission and determined to turn a negative into a positive for herself and others, Connie teamed up with Dr. Mary Ann Allison and established a place where Cancer patients---families, children and individuals--- can go to receive physical, emotional and psychological support. In July of this year The Caring Place was opened in the state of Nevada and is the first NO COST cancer center in the state. That’s right---all support is Free for those who enter its doors.
