Most self-help advice focuses on finding and fixing your weaknesses.
Unfortunately, that approach doesn’t work.
What if I told you there is another solution? What if flaunting and amplifying your weaknesses would bring you success, fulfillment, and allow you to live life authentically?
Let me introduce you to Dave Rendall. He wrote a fabulous book called the Freak Factor- Discovering Uniqueness by Flaunting Weakness. This is a great book about the incredible, outrageous, freakishly wonderful possibility of being exactly who you are- not what someone else may want you to be- and using your amazing distinctiveness to find your own personal form of a Kick-Ass Life.
During today’s episode we will discuss Dave’s unconventional approach to success by flaunting, exaggerate and amplifying your weaknesses.
David Rendall is a speaker, leadership professor, stand-up comedian and endurance athlete. During the last ten years he has spoken to audiences throughout the United States, Canada, India, Australia and the United Kingdom. He has more than fifteen years of experience leading people and organizations. David has a doctor of management degree as well as a graduate degree in psychology. His first book was The Four Factors of Effective Leadership. His newest book is The Freak Factor: Discovering Uniqueness by Flaunting Weakness.
Todays show is hosted by Leah Shapiro of Defy the Box. As a Kick-Ass Life Coach, Leah helps other creative, non-conforming "freaks" break free of the conditioning that holds them back so that they can fully expand into their Kick-Ass Lives.
