The Joan Henry radio show is a fun forum for individuals who are interested in becoming an entrepreneur to connect with like-minded individuals, as well as entrepreneurs who are looking to take their business to another level to learn from other successful entrepreneurs in their respective fields. 

Marla Fowlkes is an energetic 47 year old woman who enjoys life and all it has to offer! She is married to her number one fan, Kevin Fowlkes, and a native of Baltimore, Maryland. Her federal career began in 1988, and she is now a Management Analyst in the Division of Talent Development where she supports the training for the CMS workforce via CMS Leadership Institute. Bi-weekly, Marla facilitates the New Employee Orientation where she conducts several presentations for new employees. Last year, Marla received the 2013 Administrator’s Achievement Award for sustained superior performance in moving CMS towards achieving Enterprise Excellence through the delivery of the CMS Fellows Program.

Garry Anthony Jones was born and raised in the DC metropolitan area. A Payroll Manager by profession. He has been in the Payroll field for 31 years. Worked for non-profits, for profits, small family owned and very large national companies. One year ago he was introduced to something he couldn’t refuse; an opportunity to open up a home based financial services business. Garry has a chance to control his time, his income and his promotions.
