In every age great teachers arise advocating religious tolerance and claiming “there are many ways to God”. I’m all for tolerance and it follows that, if in fact there is only one true God, then those who come to this belief do so from other beliefs, in short, that which they believed prior to reaching their current position. There are indeed many religions, many you will have heard something of, such as Baha'i, Buddhism, Christianity, Confucianism, Hinduism, Islam, Jainism, Judaism, Shinto, Sikhism, Taoism, Wicca and the list goes on through Zoroastrianism and beyond. Within this plethora of organised religious activity philosophies seem to range from; ‘Find a faith you like’ through to ‘This is what you must do’. My particular religion is a very simple one, I believe I have a duty to care for those who have no one to care for them. My faith is equally simplistic, I am incapable of doing anything good or bad to change God. God is capable and willing towards me working all things whether good or bad for my good. It may come as a surprise to some to know that I also believe, that this is what ‘The Holy Bible’ teaches.
