Ginger Dee Davis is a talented musician, songwriter, and professional emcee from Omaha, Nebraska. Growing up in the Midwest in a highly musical family, Ginger sang in a quartet with her sisters and best friend around the Midwest. By 16, she was one of the top teen DJ’s and the Who’s Who among Rapper’s. By 17, she had a weekend Top 40 radio show at Omaha’s KBWH Radio.  At 19, Ginger became the drummer in Destiny - The All Female Band, giving up radio to travel around the country. Several bands and various emcee jobs later, Ginger moved to Atlanta. Tapping in to her jazz roots, Ginger was a fill-in announcer and radio spot producer on The Jazz of the City at Clark Atlanta’s WCLK 91.9FM. She got her own weekend radio show, Jazz Vibes with Ginger Dee and it became a jazz-fusion hit in and around Atlanta for 5 years. Ginger has a corporate entertainment band that performed for heavy weight boxing champ, Lennox Lewis and for The Butterfly Ball, honoring Muhammad Ali and to raise funds for Ali’s youth foundation in Louisville, KY. Recently, Ginger received the Carnation Award from the Omaha Black Music Hall of Fame for outstanding contribution to music. She is an accomplished Emcee, Host, and Facilitator. Ginger continues to write and record music under MJVXperience Production and will release an Instrumental Jazz-Funk Record showcasing her songwriting, in Fall 2014.
