Robin Avery grew up on Miami Beach and began singing and dancing to pop tunes in front of her stereo. When she was 9, she wrote her first song and won her first talent contest. From 11 to 16, she was the lead soloist in her school choir. Robin immersed herself in academia and earned a Ph.D. in psychology. She was a neuropsychologist in California, working with stroke victims and patients with head injuries, but never abandoned her musical spirit and passion. She returned to South Florida, where she was inspired to pursue her lifelong dream to write and sing her own songs. Robin's music and words paint wonderful images of what we want our lives to be, and who we aspire to become. Her music stands the test of time. Robin has released two CDs, Light The Way and The Way You Hold Me. www.robinavery.com
