The daughter of legendary singer and poet, Oscar Brown Jr., Maggie is captivating in her presentation and delivers a powerful performance singing spirituals, jazz, contemporary hip hop or rapping. In 1997, she helped the Chicago House Of Blues develop a Blues Schoolhouse student outreach program. Besides performing her "LEGACY" show, Maggie tours, promoting her CD From My Window on Mag Pie Records. In 1996, it was nominated by the Chicago Music Awards for Best Jazz CD.
