Dave Keller has been called one of the finest soul and blues men of his generation.

He is the 2012 winner of the Best Self-Produced CD award at the Blues Foundation's International Blues Challenge in Memphis, TN for his album Where I'M Coming From...   About.com recently said, "Dave Keller is gonna be huge!"

Dave was 'discovered by Ronnie Earl and Keller appeared as a singer and co-writer on Earl's BMA-nominated CD, Living In the Light.

How did winning the best self-produced CD impact Dave?  What are his plans for 2012?  Where did this young man come from?

All things we will discuss with Dave as we listen to his music.

Then Matt Hubbard joins me on The Couch.

Matt has worked as a solo performer, composer, studio musician, engineer and producer.

Some of the people he has played or worked with include Willie Nelson, Fastball, Gillian Welch, Ray Benson and Asleep at the Wheel, Ray Price and Billy Bob Thorton.

Recently Matt has joined Bill Kreutzmann on drums, Papa Mali on guitar, and George Porter, Jr. of the Meters on bass to form the band 7 Walkers.

We will talk to Matt about his journey and the new project as we check out some tunes from his career.

We will also hear from TerryVun Cannon from the band Lawyers Guns and Money to discuss the benefit concert he is putting on at Ziggy's in Winston-Salem on June 3rd to help the Blues Foundation "Raise The Roof"

"Musicians You Should Know"
