Ms. Caplan's vocal credits include many national jingles and albums. She also provided on-camera musical direction for "As The World Turns" on C.B.S. television from 1993-1997. She has also coached recording artists and actors behind the scenes on such shows as "The Today Show," "David Letterman," "The Craig Kilborne Show," "Jimmy Kimmel," "Conan O'Brien," and "The CBS Saturday Morning" show. Some of Ms. Caplan's recording artist students include James Blunt, Natasha Bedingfield, Lily Allen, The Goo Goo Dolls, Morningwood, The Darkness, Devon Avenue, British Sensation Girls Aloud, Eric Hutchinson and Oh Land. She has served as the Production Vocal Coach for Broadway's 13 and Rock of Ages and is the Vocal Supervisor of American Idiot.
Liz Caplan has the honor of working with many Tony and Grammy Award nominated and winning musical directors and arrangers. She consults on many projects long before they are fully realized. As a result, Liz is able to get a sense of the upcoming trends in both musical theater and the music industry. Her students therefore benefit from a teacher who has an awareness of these new productions and their various musical styles.
