I play R&B music of all kinds. From rap styled r&b music to soulful r&b. From old school 90s and 2000s R&B to new school r&b. I play it all. This show is not a slow jamz show. This genre lost its popularity within the global music scene the same way that love has been lost within many genres of music. Perhaps there is a link between love and music? hint hint! This radio show showcases music that does not get played regularly on mainstream radio outlets. We are contributing to the revival of our beloved R&B genre. Lets get back to the Love and continue to spread love into the universe through R&B.

    in Music

Canadian pop star Shawn Desman has been relatively quiet on the musical front of late, but he's headed to Alberta for a few shows mid-February and checks in with us to share some hints of what fans can expect. We also get the scoop on upcoming new music, the Move dance competition and convention, and more.
Nova Scotia's Dylan Guthro, Breagh Mackinnon, and Carleton Stone each set aside on-the-rise solo projects to focus on their new folk-pop project, Port Cities. In the months since, the band's popularity has skyrocketed and now they're ready to release their debut LP. We speak with Guthro and Stone about their formation, musical chemistry, huge success on Spotify, and what lies ahead.
And finally, Toronto City Councilor Josh Colle checks in to talk about the string of recent small- to mid-sized venue closures and how the city is looking to address concerns from the music community.

APE SHIFTER is all instrumental and reaches from rockin' 70's riffs played with punk rock ferocity to creeping metal grooves. Intense Simian Instrumental Rock from the nasty pits of the Hellabrunn Zoo.
Born on Friday the 13th in Washington, D.C. and raised in Laurel, Maryland, Jeff Aug is a cool underground guitarist who lives at the foothills of the Alps in Southern Germany for the last 18 years.  He has toured with Allan Holdsworth, Soft Machine, Johnny A., Albert Lee, and has performed shows with Jawbox, Shudder To Think, and Ice-T & Bodycount with his old band.  He's worked with John Stabb from Government Issue, has been touring and recording with Anne Clark for the last 10+ years, and has been touring as a solo guitarist for the last 20+ years. Jeff can also be heard on the Atari Teenage Riot album “Is This Hyperreal?” (Dim Mak Records / Digital Hardcore Records). About Music

Music is indeed the universal language. You don't need words to understand a feeling conveyed by a particular piece of music; all it takes is a killer beat to make stadiums of people with vastly different worldviews jump out of their chairs and dance it out. And everyone has a memory of how a particular song served as a soundtrack for a first kiss, a graduation or an unforgettable road trip. Every day, you'll discover how eclectic BlogTalkRadio's music offerings are, as music fans, makers, movers and shakers across the globe share their passion for any and every genre: Adult Contemporary, Dubstep, Hip Hop, R&B, Dance, Jazz, '80s, Classical, Big Band, Country, Children's, Folk, Indie, Oldies, New Age, World, Christian, Opera, Alternative, Broadway, Punk, Rock, Classic Rock, Gospel, Singer-Songwriter and much more. You'll even find episodes devoted to specific instruments. So go on, find your beat by simply pressing play.
