César Morriss was born in Lima, Perú, in 1979. His work is characterized primarily by being endowed with a remarkable command of color and innovative use of resources such as the fusion of different techniques, exploration of textures, decorative details, elements that do not show themselves fully, and the use of formats and compositions that do not respect the conventional.
In 2006 he made his first exhibition called "Impresión de Color" on the Association of Breeders and Owners of Peruvian Step Horses "La Libertad" in the city of Trujillo.
In 2011 he presented “Dreamings and Abstractions” in the Gallery Urban Headquarters in Utica, New York. He also participated in three exhibitions in Canada: “Matices de Latinoamerica” at the UNAM (Universidad Nacional Autónoma de Mexico) in Quebec, “Art for Water” at the Embassy of the Republic of Serbia in Ottawa, and “Latin American Art Christmas Exhibition” at Saint Brigid´s Center for art and humanities in Ottawa.
He also has sold works in France, Switzerland, Chile and the United States.
This year he will participate in a collective exhibition of latin American artists at the Carrier Gallery of Columbus Centre Village in Toronto.
