Allan André is a Haitian-Canadian artist living in Ottawa.

Artist Statement

Pollock said "Every good painter paints what he is." For 24-year-old Awarded Canadian born Haitian artist Allan André this statement rings especially true. Believing that we all leave a mark in history by amusing, inspiring and challenging our own spheres of influence in a way that will ripple through future generations.

He states, “After having lived in Ottawa, Long Island, Orlando and meeting so many different people I’ve learned that we all are artists, whether we use a brush; sing into a microphone; shoot the best jump shot; or simply make others laugh and smile. We all leave our signature on the canvas we call the human experience.
