My sculptures are emotions attached to memories, evocative, and accessible, poetic rather than purely decorative. I hope that people have a strong emotional reaction to my work and become involved in the experience before them.
My poetry allows time for reflection; to feel the subtleties of line, form, and texture and move quietly into the work. I guide the viewer on a voyage of discovery, defining the mysteries of the stone through the use of technical skills earned during my life's work.
My heritage places me at the crossroads of the natural world and its spirit realm. Aboriginal beliefs touch on earth's vulnerability, and praise their maker.
