Just your general updating...No, I ain't dead yet...

Well hello there again. It's been a while since I posted a blog again. I've been busy teaching, working with wildlife, and much more. The teaching isn't going as bad as I thought it might and having the ability to make the class fun helps. The students are great and so is the college staff. I must say though...T.G.I.F. man! lol. Anyway, I figured I'd use this time to ramble a bit; something I'm told I'm good at. What wondrous bullcrud will I bring up today you say? I have no fr$%^& clue...o_O?

Ok. Well, Chu$%^ is doing well except he projectile vomited today...I never saw a squirrel projectile vomit before...He's ok though. He just ate too much. He gets so excited over that bottle it's incredible. Anyway, it was time for his bath today being that he crapped all over himself...I'm still trying to figure out how he got crap on his head....meh. All that matters is that he got cleaned up.

Let's see...what is going on in the world of bumble#@$% U.S.A. Well, I was up all night dealing with some local mess. I won't go into detail but it was a mess. I was fortunate it wasn't me this time...Never get drunk when you have to get up the next morning and teach...it doesn't mix well. I am waiting on my Courage the Cowardly Dog complete set. It should arrive the end of this month possibly the beginning of next month. I won an iPod at one of the meetings I attended...not a bad little piece of machine. I was really hoping for the Wii though. Hey I didn't walk away empty-handed so I'm happy...hmm, I really do need to get working on a show... "D" rated movie night has been put on hold with everything going on but it'll be back in full swing one of these days. I can't believe it...I'm having brain fry at the moment...

What does anyone think about the Stephen Colbert incident? I think it's funny as hell. The man was making a joke and he's in 5th place in the running for presidency. I guess that should be sending a message to the people but nooooooo. What are they going to do? They are trying to sue his ass for a joke...makes you wonder about that oh so wonderful FEC and their logic. I mean yah, I guess they have a right to be afraid being that a comedian making a joke has that much backing...Yes it is true he was looking for running in South Carolina but he never filed anything. He has even stated it was a joke numerous times. The FEC is like "No, this is not a joke; not when you're 5th in the running!" So, I'm sure that will be talked about for some time to come. It'll be interesting to see the outcome of this matter. I still think it's funny as hell though.

Now for more serious matters, I send my condolences to California and the massive disaster they are dealing with. It is the same as when hurricane Katrina hit except the life loss totals. Any loss of life is a tragedy, but it could have been way worse than it was in California. Governor Schwarzenegger stated that, with relief efforts, they feel they have learned, at least a little, from the Hurricane Katrina incident and were more prepared to assist residents. I thought it was really a surreal moment when the one reporter had to report while he watched his own home engulfed in flames. Having to go through something like that, I can only imagine what he was going through.

We finally got rain but it's not enough to keep the drought away yet. We'll have to see what mother nature has in store for us...damn I need a new phone...Ok, I'm out of thoughts to type down for now and I'm hungry; it's dinner time. I'll close this off here for now and um...go eat. Later skaters...ugh...and now sensorship for one word I typed...oh joy change it because you might "offend" someone...I'm gonna let that simmer for a bit...hope I caught the right "might be offensive" word...it appears not...and again....if it's the name of the squirrel I'm gonna get pissed off...ok ths is now annoying. There is NOTHING offensive in anything I typed out. If people have a problem with what I typed out then they have a serious problem.

    Meet Tiahna

Ok. I have changed my picture again. This is Tiahna; a 9 week old Bengal Tiger. I had the privilege of interacting with this lil gal-absolutely awesome. Bengal Tigers come from India. With their numbers totaling 3000, this magnificent creature is becoming extinct. I couldn't pass up this opportunity for interaction and photo op; a once in a lifetime chance for those who do not work with these animals on a daily basis. I have worked with many wild life species but never tigers and other exotics. Tiahna was brought in by her owners from Horseshoe Creek Wildlife Foundation who are currently located in Florida. Darryl Atkinson founded the Horseshoe Creek Wildlife Foundation. Yesterday I had the privilege of meeting him and his crew along with little Tiahna. If I can, I'll see about uploading the story of their organization. Currently, the foundation is looking to re-locate into my area to open a safari-type zoo so they can introduce these animals to more individuals for enjoyment and a sort of educational experience.  If I am able to, I may be volunteering my services from time to time once they arrive here. All in all, absolutely a wonderful crew, wonderful little gal, and a wonderful weekend.

Well I didn't see the need to begin a brand new blog for this small amount I'm gonna be posting right now so I'm combining...and rambling...anyway, today is the first day of teaching so this ought to be interesting...am I looking forward to it? Hmm...not really but who knows how it will go. It's not that I don't like the idea of teaching...it's just...I took the semester off from university so I could give my brain a rest from school...eeeeyah....so I'm teaching...that'll give my brain a rest from schooling...o_O?...heh. Ok...moving on...Besides that, there's just way too much going on and I can't think straight...no comments from the peanut gallery lol. I realize I am very scatter-brained and I make no apologies for my blondness lol. Heh, and speaking of my brain...it has gone on vacation and forgotten to take me with it...lost my train of thought...soooooo I'm out for now.

Why do they always catch you at your worst? Also latest happenings...

Hello again on this fine October 2nd evening. I pose this for thought...Why is it that people taking photographs of you always catch you at your worst? I was viewing my newly uploaded picture for my profile and guess what? The picture was  "squatly" and also glass reflections made me look like I was blistered from a fire...Yes, I have experienced that degree of injury before but not today. It also became pixeled when I uploaded it. It is the only current photograph of me as of today though so I said what the hey upload it anyway...Of course my fashion sense leaves a lot to be desired...I call it my "Slobbish lazy" look. I mean really who wears socks with sandals I ask you...I only wore the sandals because I was too lazy to slip on sneakers lol. Ugh...Don't get me wrong. I can be very fashionable but when it comes to having a few minutes to myself I just don't give a shit what I look like...It's not like I have anyone to impress...except the stray cameras catching me...*shudders* Everyone who comes over knows how busy I am and they are extremely accepting of my non-fashionable moments; which is pretty cool. Me relaxing or lounging about = big comfy shirts or tank style shirts, baggy pants, and socks. Of course the baggy clothing can make you look like a whole lot bigger than you really are...which also indicates the "Oh-so-not flattering" look. I am hoping though that by Friday, I will have gained a bit of fashion sense enough to look good for a photo-shoot opportunity I have been given. No, I am not a model. Yes, I do enjoy a once in a lifetime opportunity; which this photo-shoot will be. I will be having pictures taken with a baby Bengal Tiger; extremely rare. I have worked with many wild animals; including an endangered Bald Eagle before the species came off the endangered list and moved down to threatened, but never had the pleasure of being around an endangered Bengal Tiger. There are approximately 3,000 total left and they come from India. Many zoos harbor rare animals and not so rare animals. We have the fortune of possibly having a rare exotic zoo moving into our territory. I am a wild life rescuer and rehabilitator so this is right up my alley and we are working on similar goals. Who knows? Maybe I'll get the chance to work one-on-one with these magnificent creatures in the zoo. I'll be pushing more in the county for this awesome opportunity to become a definite reality.

I know there's more I should be posting but so much is going on right now I could write a book and don't have the time or the patience to type it all out at this time...so yah a little bit is cool.
