Teri Tobin is an Arizona born soulstress, songwriter and producer.  Her voice training began at her grandmother’s church.  Her professional career started when she was chosen to sing background vocals for Jeffrey Osborne and the rock band Yes.  She decided early on music was her passion.  She has been pursuing her dream ever since.

Teri studied classical voice at Howard University.  During this time, she gained experience singing with the school’s Chorale on the National Mall during President Clinton’s Inaugural Ball Gala and performing background for Diana Ross and Whitley Phipps.  She has also shared the stage with Patti LaBelle, Luther Vandross and many others.

Having performed demos and background vocals for many artists prepared Teri for her moment to shine as a solo artist.  Although most of her influences are male artists such as Stevie Wonder, Prince and Donnie Hathaway, Teri is reminiscent of the sultry sounds and richness of R&B and jazz singers of yesterday.

Teri released her debut LP Love Infinity and her first Christmas EP Christmas Child in 2011.  She followed up with the release of her second LP So Good to Me in the summer of 2012.  Her music can be heard on radio stations around the world, as well as numerous podcasts, DirecTV and on select airlines in-flight. Her international hit-single Free from the Love Infinity LP remained at the #1-spot for several weeks on various charts in the United Kingdom and The Netherlands. She has also won the SoulTracks Readers' Choice Award and is an Independent Music Awards Nominee (2011 and 2012).  Teri is currently touring select cities in the U.S. with her Love&Sol LIVE concert series which kicked-off at the legendary Roxy Theatre in West Hollywood.
