Abiah began writing songs at the age of 10. He studied opera at Syracuse University and had performed at Carnegie Hall by age 21. he developed a strong multi octave operatic voice over the years. This led to supporting work for artists such as Kem, Heather Headley and Rachelle Farrell.
In 2006, Abiah released his freshmen album Chasing Forever. This project showcased his voice and expansive view of popular music, all referencing his classical training. After this release, much was not heard from Abiah. He returned in August 2012 with the release of his latest project Life As A Ballad.
