The Artistic Voice~ C. Mikki

Ever since she was a young girl, C. Mikki had one goal and one goal only: to become a filmmaker. Born and raised in Louisiana, she was surrounded by a culture that embraced the arts and knew that one day, her goal would be realized.

 

Today, C.Mikki is working on her debut documentary film, "Black and Write," which is an innovative film concept that will explore the challenges of black authors in the publishing business.

 

In addition to her talent for filmmaking, C. Mikki is also an accomplished author. In 2010, she released her first novel, "Men and Sex - Power, Pleasure, Pain." She has also written for various online magazines, providing sex and relationship advice that is thought provoking and realistic.

 

C.Mikki also had a 12-year career as a recruiter but is now excited to be devoting her full efforts to realizing her dream. She lives by the quote, "If you really want to do it, you will find the time. Time is never an excuse."

 

When she is not writing or creating films, C. Mikki enjoys spending time her husband and two beautiful sons where she resides in Austin, Texas.
