Chike Akua has been called "an educational revolutionary."  He has been a keynote speaker at a number of colleges, universities and educational conferences nationally.  Dr. Asa Hilliard called him "a Master Teacher" and Dr. Runoko Rashidi called him, "a brilliant young African scholar with remarkable intellect, genuine humility and superlative work ethic."

As a business owner and producer of African-centered educational resources, Brother Akua is the author 10 books, 10 African Origins DVDs and 30 Black History posters.  He provides training for teachers in the area of African-centered education and culturally relevant instructional strategies.  In addition, he is a Christian minister who has been in ministry for 17 years and his book African Origins of Our Faith is opening a lot of eyes and prompting a serious dialogue in the faith-based community.  
Other Recent books include Education for Transformation: The Keys to Releasing the Genius of African American Students and ParentPower: The Keys to Your Child's Academic & Social Success.

Brother Akua has assisted in leading over 1000 youth and adults on study tours to Egypt and Ghana.  He resides just outside of Atlanta with his wife of 20 years and their two sons.
