Photobucket Welcome to a "SELF HELP" show that believes anything is POSSIBLE! IF you believe in Yourself! This week we discuss the "IMPORTANCE OF MENTORING OUR YOUTH? Brother Norris will share his childhood as he was raised in a divorced family home. He was born in the inner city of Fort Worth, TX on November 9, 1976. He is the second eldest of 4 children. He faced many challenging battles that are similar to our urban teenagers, such as low self-esteem, wanting to fit in, street life and peer pressure. Music was a great escape from the world around him. His love for singing, hip-hop and rapping provided a release of creativity. Norris was led to the Lord at an early age. As a teenager in the church, he loved the Lord, but knew that "hip-hop [was] the language of the streets". He wanted to reach his peers by engaging them through music they could relate too. He started writing in order to minister the word through music. Norris received rave reviews for his writing which definitely ministered to all those who heard. His style is very relevant to pop culture, but the main focus is on praising God. Although his music is geared toward our youth, it touches the lives of anyone in need of encouragement. His passion is to be a voice for YOUTH.
