A dreamer, a daughter, a sister, a mentor, a model, a teacher, and an advocate, LaQuisha Hall is a woman with a purpose that goes far beyond what is expected of her. She is an award winning community service leader of the national Daily Point of Light Award, the local Maryland Good Neighbor Award and several pageantry awards. As Mrs. Maryland Galaxy 2009, a sexual abuse survivor and the International Spokesperson for Stop the Silence, LaQuisha actively promotes her cause, Stop the Silence! Sexual Abuse Education & Support, which presents a two-pronged approach—educating the public about the realities of sexual abuse and supporting survivors through the recovery process. LaQuisha is the founder of Queendom, where she mentors, encourages and teaches teenage girls in Baltimore City about feminine etiquette and sexual abuse. A large part of her presentation is devoted to dispelling myths about sexual abuse and sharing recovery options internationally.
