Get Ready to Ride! April is Cyclovia and Bike Fest Time

Cyclovia (Sunday, April 6) has become one of the most fun, well-attended, free, outdoor annual family events in this super bicycle-friendly town.  FYI - Cyclovia comes from a Spanish word signifying the temporary closure of a network of streets to cars so that they become “open” to people. Our translation: Crazy fun for anyone who wants bike, walk, skate and participate in a host of free-wheeling activities. Bike Fest Tucson is a month-long annual celebration of the most incredible form of human-powered transportation in the world – the bicycle! Clean and green, so simple, elegant, affordable and fun – the bicycle deserves the entire month of April dedicated to celebrating its beauty and practicality.
