In the small town of Haven, SyFy makes sure nothing is what it seems—including co-star Eric Balfour!

STARTS @ 9:50 a.m. Based on The Colorado Kid from renowned author Stephen King, Haven follows FBI agent Audrey Parker (Rose), who arrives in the small town of Haven, Maine, to solve the murder of a local ex-con. Before long, her natural curiosity lands her in the epicenter of activity in this curious enclave, which turns out to be a longtime refuge for people with a remarkable range of supernatural abilities. Among the townspeople are local cop Nathan Wuornos (Lucas Bryant), who eventually becomes Audrey's partner, and the mysterious and charming Duke Crocker (Eric Balfour).

Balfour is currently in production on the independent sci-fi thriller, Skyline. The movie follows a group of friends that discover an otherwordly force is swallowing the entire human population off the face of the earth. The band of survivors must fight for their lives as the world unravels around them. Eric plays “Jarrod,” a dark, handsome New York artist visiting Los Angeles with his girlfriend when the chaos ensues.

He was recently seen in several films including Hell Ride, The Horsemen, and The Spirit. In addition to his film career, Balfour was recently seen in “24” as Milo, the smart and eccentric resident computer expert at the CTU.

The actor is probably best known for HBO’s “Six Feet Under” as Gabe, the drug addicted, troubled boyfriend of Claire (Lauren Ambrose).
