It's The Green Revolution Show, and it originates from Southern California in the San Bernardino mtns of the Inland Empire, 80 miles east of Los Angeles. Sharon French will be joining the program from B.C., Canada and telling us why we need certain things IN our water. Often times we think about filtering and removing chemicals from our drinking water in order to make it clean and delicious. Sharon refers to this as "dead water" and we must take precautions in how we treat our drinking water.

The Pickens Army started with an idea and has grown into a volunteer force of 1.6 million across the nation, promoting the need of Energy Independence for America! The NAT GAS Act, or H.R.1835, is part of the plan to rid the U.S. reliance of foreign oil and, the Pickens Army is a big reason why the co-sponsorship, of this important legislation from our U.S. Representatives in Congress, is growing. T. Boone Pickens has recognized certain members in his army and has appropriately named them as State Leaders. Folks like John W. Nobles, California State Leader will be joining the program, as well as other Leaders from around the country.

The Pickens Army is lead by General T. Boone Pickens... and, like all good leaders who are able to cast the vision, he steps back to allow his volunteer army to go forth and do the work that needs to be done.
That's the case in Florida and California where I will be joined by two State Leaders of the Pickens Army. Jeff Green and John W. Nobles are working their respective states in getting in the trenches, contacting their Senators, State Representatives and City Officials to help pass legislation to bring America off of our dependency on foreign oil.
It can be done and with the passing of H.R. 1835, The Natural Gas Act, we can be on our way to Energy Independence, NOW! We have the tools, we have the supply and we have the demand...SO WHAT'S KEEPING US FROM THIS?
Join me, your Sustainability Host, as we uncover what America must do to create jobs, strengthen our national security and bolster our economy all in the name of Energy Independence!

Ken West of Premier Building Systems is an advocate for building with SIPs, of course. He's the Southwest's Dealer Representative for the best selling foam panel wall system in America...so what makes these so special? Join Ken and I as we explore the benefits of SIPs.
The LEED rating system established by the USGBC mentions SIPs in the documentation literature, but they don't endorse any specific products...what gives?
...and how many credits can be achieved by utilizing Structural Insulated Panels? Find out on the show and call in with your questions.

It represents a United Republic...A Nation standing together as one; blessed by God, with it's beauty, resources and freedoms. We pledge our allegiance to the flag that represents a nation that stands up for liberty and justice for all mankind.
WWII was a war fought against injustice. After the U.S. entered the war in December of 1941, the USS Grunion and her crew was sent to defend our liberty and served our nation admirably. Her resting place was recently found, after 60 years, by the sons of the USS Grunion's Lt. Cmdr. Abele who, along with other sons and daughters of the brave crew, will be joining us.
The USS Grunion, a Navel war submarine sailed to the Aleutian Islands of Alaska in June of 1942 to combat the Japanese invasion on American soil. It was her first war patrol, and just 30 days into the mission, after sinking two Japanese patrol boats, antisubmarine activity was reported and the crew was ordered back to Dutch Harbor. They were never heard from again.
Join Mr. Wayne as he welcomes the children of these war heroes and how their legacy will carry on and we will continue to pledge allegiance to a flag that represents a country they sacrificed their life for.

Ali Sahabi, founder of The Green Valley Initiative will be sharing the exciting developments taking place that are addressing the region's most fundamental challenge: There are not enough jobs to meet the needs of the people who live there.
Riverside and San Bernardino counties make up one of the fastest-growing regions in the U.S., with a population surge of 2 million new residents expected within the next 15 years. GVI has brought together stakeholders from city, tribal and county governments and agencies, universities, school districts, utilities, businesses, cultural and environmental groups and the community at large to chart a path for a better future.
Their mission: to create an economic development plan that blends social, economic and environmental concerns to promote a higher quality of life for generations to come.
