Join us and special guest Janice Rael, VP of the Delaware Valley Chapter of Americans United for Separation of Church and State (DVAU), for a robust discussion of Church-State issues, including of the Supreme Court cases of Hobby Lobby Stores and Conestoga Wood Specialties, both of whose owners claim their religious beliefs will be violated if they must provide insurance coverage for certain types of birth control.


About our guest:
Janice Rael is Founder and Vice President of the Delaware Valley Chapter of Americans United for Separation of Church and State, DVAU. Janice is a grassroots activist focused on church-state separation issues, religious freedom, women’s rights, LGBT equality, supporting public education, and promoting science literacy. She is the co-chair of The Summit, a Philadelphia LGBT action coalition. Janice is a Co-Organizer of Gloucester County Humanists in NJ and is on the Board of Directors of the NJ Humanist Network.  Janice lives in South Jersey with her spouse and their two teenagers.
