The Movie Geeks speak with two documentary filmmakers regarding their acclaimed new films. Director Bart Layton discusses The Imposter, the jaw-dropping account of a criminal Frenchman who convinces a grieving Texas family that he is their son who went missing three years previously.
Plus, nine years after his groundbreaking documentary Tarnation, which chronicled his emotional relationship with his schizophrenic mother, director Jonathan Caouette discusses his follow-up titled Walk Away Renee, which follows their evolving relationship during a cross-country road trip.
The Imposter opens in select theaters beginning on July 13, and Walk Away Renee is now available on SundanceNOW's newly launched video on demand channel Doc Club.
