  Review of Crank 2 High Outrage!
  

  
  Let me start by saying the movie should have been titled Crank 2 "High Outrage" instead of "High Voltage" but that is no big deal.  High Voltage picks up where Crank ends.  Chev Chelios falling out of the helicopter hitting a car and falling to the street.  A van full of triad gang members jumps out and scoop him up with a shovel and away they go.  Chev wakes up during them removing his heart and we're off to the races. Jason Statham reprises his role as Chev Chelios "bad ass". Amy Smart is back as his girlfriend who's willing to have public sex to save her man, this time at the Hollywood Park.  Dwight Yoakim is back as the "Doc" who's reasonably sure he can put the heart back in.  David Carridine and Cory Haim make cameo appearences to round out the basc cast as the Crank.
  
  Crank 2 is more graphic so don't take any kids to see it even if they saw Crank. It is just more violent. There a scene where a gang member has to cut his nipples off as punishment for not killing Chev.   The violence is balanced by humor.  Crank 2 went for laughs.  Kaylo who dies in the first Crank has a twin brother, who is also gay but has a condition called FBT
  Full Body Turretts and it hits and the most in opportune time like in a fight.  There is also a scene where Chelios is fighting a Triad member in a power plant substation and the make it look like a Godzilla movie.   You also get a look at Chev when he was young which isn't much different then he is now but that is hilarious.  If you like Jason Statham and Crank you like this. It exceded my expectations for violence, action and humor.  The end leaves the doors and windows wide open for Crank 3....at least lets hope so!   7 out of 10 DON'T TAKE THE KIDS!
