Mega Multi-talented Artist "S.A.M"

Samantha Angelica Massie (S.A.M) was born on September, 17, 1989 in a family of five in Houston, Texas.  Since she was a child, S.A.M. has always had a love for the entertainment industry and the arts. S.A.M’s first exposure to music came through her parents. Church and school also had a significant influence on S.A.M’s singing and dancing talents which enhanced all together artistic abilities. 

According to her godmother, she taught S.A.M. how to sing her first note as a toddler.  Her father’s biggest acknowledgement of S.A.M’s singing abilities is when she sang a solo by Shirley Caesar at church at a very young age.  S.A.M’s and her brother Jason began writing songs together with basic kid friendly instruments. They used baby pianos and karaoke players until they were able to afford professional equipment.  S.A.M purchased her first mini home studio in 2009 and uses it each time to create musical beats from her soul.

When S.A.M isn’t dancing she is expressing herself in various forms of art. She grew up drawing life figures, building 3D figures, making pottery and much more. Fashion & Design on the other hand, has always been one of her main focuses.  S.A.M’s goals are to share her artistic talents on a nationally and own her fashion business. 

After at least 4 years, S.A.M decided to stop spending her birthdays in tears and finally pursue the dream that God put in her heart.  In July of 2011, S.A.M relocated to Los Angeles, CA and in pursuit of fulfilling her dreams. Upon arrival, S.A.M had a very challenging start. She lived out of her car for over two month and continues to face trails toward achieving her ultimate goal. Regardless of the circumstances, S.A.M continues thrive for success and is beyond determined to reach destiny. Currently, S.A.M is focusing on her musical career and also auditions for roles as an actress.
