Joey Ororpesa was born in the film industry state of California. Unlike many other kids on his block Joey-O didn’t spend his time playing basketball or video games. Joey spent most of his time outside filming videos with his buddies at an early age. At the age of 7, he knew he wanted to become Film Director. A few years after moving to Tampa, FL, Joey-O started his very first show in 2003.

They called it the Steven Ortiz Show or S-O-S which was based on his partners in crime. Later in 2005, Steven moved off to Puerto Rico, causing the end of the S-O-S. Joey continued making the show with the same name until in 2007. Later the name was changed to The Joey-O-Show.

The Joey -O- Show made a nice impact in Tampa bay. The show continued on until there was a great impact in 2010. That same year, Joey joined the morning show at his school, Leto High. The Joey-O-Show went live to all rooms and became very popular in a short period of time. Later that year, the show spread throughout the Hillsborough school district.

Continuing to reach high to chance his dream, Joey-O joined a Tampa, FL’s first late night talk show. Yes, The Motown Maurice Show. During the first quarter of 2010, Joey volunteered as a cameraman.  After the completion of the show’s first season, Joey-O maintained his working relationship with Motown Maurice. A few months later, Joey graduated from Leto High.

Between 2006 and 2010, Joey has made 9 motion picture films. He is currently working on a project that he claims will be the biggest film he has ever made. It’s a motion picture film called, Blackheart. The plot is crime detective based. As Joey moves forward into life, he’s planning to attend FSU’s film school.
