    Liberation from Stress

    in Motivation

Counselor Mandy (Eppley) Bird speaks with author and coach Chris Saade about the importance of liberating ourselves from stress. This is critical because of the proven medical research that stress is linked to many illnesses and diseases. Mandy and Chris cover three aspects of stress: Stress of Dissemination, Profound Stress, and Failure Stress. They offer practical tools for liberating ourselves from each of these types of stress. Stress of Dissemination is when we are doing too much – trying to meet everyone’s needs. Instead, we must focus on the essential needs that must to be met. Profound Stress is when we are involved in work, projects, organizations, etc. that are opposite to our authentic nature. When we are not in harmony with ourselves, the cost is very high. When we are aligned with our heart and our authenticity we have the best chance for good health. Failure Stress is when we are not accepting our humanity and are fighting against the authenticity of life itself. Creativity happens through waves of failures and successes. Thus, we must have both of these. Failures are guiding stars to our successes. The good news is that when we liberate ourselves from stress we can experience much more joy and pleasure!
Chris Saâde is the co-director of The Olive Branch Center with his wife, Jessie Thompson, where he teaches courses on engaged spirituality. He has lead more than 200 psychological and spiritual retreats, and continues to serve as a personal Coach for individuals and couples. Chris worked as a licensed psychotherapist for 11 years in private practice specializing in depression and life transitions before migrating into the world of coaching, writing and teaching. He has written 2 books, 2nd Wave Spirituality: Passion for Peace, Passion for Justice and Prayers for Peace and Justice and 2 recordings with Andrew Harvey. www.theolivebranch.net

What Would Life Be Like If Everyone Acted for the Greater Good?

    in Motivation

Starland's first book UEES or Not UEES-That is the Question takes you in to a world where UEE membership ensures that you can trust doing business with, dating or interacting with fellow members because they share your values. It presents two nearly identical scenarios-one where Jane, the protagonist, experiences a day without UEE influence-and then the same day where she is supported by, aided and shares experiences with other UEE committed-individuals. This short novel is much like the film Ground Hog Day with a different kind of outcome!
The Earth Citizen's Guide to Co-Creating the Greatest and Highest Good introduces UEE to the world-why it is necessary, what it stands for, the power of Lenergy-the love energy that drives the manifestation of all things, the vision for what UEE is to become, the poll-itical aspects of uniting people globally through majority vote to be a voice of clarity in support of humanity, environmental wellness, and the Common Good on many of today's issues and political campaigns. UEE members are able to identify each other by the proud wearing of the gold Exclamation of Love Mark (ExLo for short), the Registered Collective Mark of the UEE, symbolized by a heart atop a plus. The Earth Citizen's Guide is a road map to the future, showing how UEE can lead us forward, raising everyone's boat. With the book, Starland is beginning the process of enrolling people in the co-creation of this brave new world where love rules! For more information and/or to become a UEE Member, go to ExLo.org.

Please join host Frankie Picasso on Thursday, October 22nd at 1:00 pm EST as she goes on a Mission Unstoppable with guest Lucia Weitzman a child survivor of the holocaust.
As Hitlers armies began to gather up the Polish Jews, Lucia’s parents feared for her safety and rightly so. In their attempt to escape, they decided it best to leave Lucia behind, hidden in plain site. They gave her to a childless Polish Catholic couple to raise as their own, always hoping that they might meet again after the war, but Poland was hardest hit by the Nazis. There were no survivors left behind.
Lucia was born in Bochnia, Poland in 1940. Her Jewish parents perished in the Holocaust and Lucia was raised in the Catholic Church by her adopted parents the Swiateks. Lucia loved the church and had deep and spiritual faith. When she learned that she too was a Jew, she really had no idea what that meant, beyond knowing that everyone hated the Jews. As she grew older, Lucia began suffering anti semitism as a lone Jew in Bochnia, and eventually concluded that she would never be able to marry or have children if she stayed. After escaping detention by Communist authorities in 1961, she immigrated to the United States and married Herman Weitzman, a Holocaust survivor and businessman raised in a traditional Jewish family
Lucia’s life has been documented in her new book The Rose Temple , written by her son Mitchell, which tells an incredible tale of survival, loss, and a love for God that would spur a spiritual search  across the world , not once but several times as she sought answers to life’s most pressing questions.
