Mothers are hurting, not only on an emotional level as a result of losing their homes, but mothers who were head of their households are drastically left in a position of financial grievance. Most times it's due to divorce, death of a spouse, or stress associated with rebellious children of this generation. Sharing with mothers who are in a difficult and painful place, hoping to find a solution to improving the quality of life for themselves and for their entire families, is a place too often visited by thousands, even millions of women each day. In today's world, statistics indicate that there is an increase in the number of single mothers, divorced women, women on welfare, and displaced homemakers that's growing rapidly throughout our country. With more communicating, more leadership, more of combined efforts and partnerships between local businesses, community based organizations and colleges, more of job training services and more of a flexible childcare and adult education classes are a number of issues that should be implemented and no longer go unnoticed. Mothers, and all concerned, let's not just talk about the issues, but let us dare to come together taking action by sharing, caring, and informing one another.

Regardless of who the mother is, when crisis arises she ought to be comfortable enough to discuss personal issues, confidentially, But why aren't they comfortable talking with spiritual leaders, professional help, family members per the many interviews MIM has had? There should be through teachings available to meet the emotions and concerns of mothers without feeling embarrassed or concerned "who may know their business!" There should be help available to counsel in emergencies at any given moment regardless of the hour, but this is not the case. We all know most relatives, who have enough drama themselves, are already burned out hearing the same old story from mom on why she's stressed out "this time." How does a mother handle the behavior of an angry rebellious teenager who hangs out with the wrong crowd, tattooed all over their body, wearing sensuous clothing, and staying out at all hours of the night ("in spite of threats)! What should a mother do? What actions should be taken when the mothers finally gets ask an adult child who refuses to continue college or work causing financial havoc (no contributions to the home,) yet find themselves afraid of that child? Or what about the husband who's physically or verbally abusive, who do you tell? Where can you go? What about the grandmothers, many who are raising their addicted child's children, desperately trying to avoid
"the system"(DCFS) And yes, the brand new mom who's need advice how to breast feed or care for her new born? Who does she talk to? And just as concerned, what about then, the obedient child who's quiet, never causes a problem, yet insecure, have low self esteem and just don't know how to fit in with the crowd? Or a child who's being bullied or has peer pressure to a degree they loose interest in life. Who can they taLk to? These types of questions can go on and on and on!!! Bottom line is whatever your questions are, I believe if each mother ~ reach out and touch and teach another mother ~ who's been there and done that, and have the answer, could be a way to learn long lasting lessons in life.

We're all in the same boat sailing on the same rough seas called motherhood aren't we? This is a different time than years past and carrying our burdens alone has become more difficult. If there's no rest, and the exhaustion from wearing the many hats mothers wear in the course of one day, all for the sake of survival, how can we go on without sharing and seeing solutions to solving these problems? Without putting our business "out there", where can mothers turn to for relief?
Each Mother Reach and Teach Another Mother!
