"Joyous Word"

Tammara L. Smith affectionately known as “Tammy” is an anointed vessel of the Lord. She is the virtuous wife to Jerry L.Smith and devoted mother to her daughter SheVon.

As a three time survivor of cancer, Tammy recognizes that healing from God comes many ways. She sings knowing that she is a vessel used by God to release healing and restoration to all who hear her voice.

She has shared her gift of singing with gospel artist such as Richard Smallwood, Vanessa Bell Armstrong, John P. Kee, Deleon Richards, and Twinkie Clark along with other Praise and Worship leaders.

 Currently she is one of the lead vocalist for The Chicago Mass Choir and has been featured on three of the Grammy/Stellar and Dove nominated choir’s recordings: song “High Praise”, which can be found on the CD “Chicago Mass Choir Live in Nashville” and song ”Spirit of the Living God” found on the CD “Just Having Church”, and song “Wash all my Sins Away” on the newly released CD “Chicago Mass XV”.

She also has a CD project entitled “Instrument of Praise” and a Christmas CD entitled “Come Let Us Adore Him”.
