Mortgage Buyer  

As a mortgage buyer, I have been unable to help more and more private mortgage holders. The biggest issue by far is the credit of the borrower. Just like this morning, the note holder had a note where we agreed on a price pending credit of the borrower. According to the note holder, the original credit on the borrower 18 months ago was 627. When we pulled credit today, it was 200+ points lower. Unfortunately, no mortgage buyer or note buyer will consider such a risky investment. Despite what ll the government, news media and Wall Street continue to say, the average consumer in this country is in big trouble. I see it every day on their credit reports. The consumer is drowning in debt and those that have and continue to loose their jobs are in even worse shape. And unfortunately, the only light at the end of the tunnel, is a freight train coming.
