As a female over the age of 50, I have tried who-knows-how-many skin anti-aging and anti-wrinkle, anti-this, that and -everything products over the last four or five years in an attempt to undo what I've spent years doing.  And I have several special issues:  I love the sun!  No, I don't have to spend all day outside, but the abundant sunshine is a major reason for my move to a different state made decades ago. 

I’m difficult.  I have issues:  I'm allergic to sunscreen, even the most “natural”.  I've tried them all.  As a result of the allergies/sensitivities, it's extremely rare that I can use any skin care product "off the shelf", as in available at the grocery store, drugstore, or even the mega-expensive products sold at chic cosmetic counters.  (I often wonder how many people pay such a ridiculous price for a product that they then manage to convince themselves that they actually look better, that they must, after having spent so much money!)   I’ve returned products when possible, given them away (my friends love me) and thrown them away.
