"Financial Consultant for the Northern Trust Co. I have lost over 100lbs from workout and diet. I lost 75lbs working out with my mentor/trainer, Thomas Barnes a Chicago Police Officer, like him, I’ve been trying to give back and help others if I can. I was raised in Oak Park, Ill. I currently live in Chicago. I have a sister, we are 15yrs apart. My father passed away when I was 5. I was raised by my grandmother and mother. My grandmother died in 1995. I graduated college from DePaul University. I have 3 children, 12, 9 & 3. I grew up heavy my entire life. I always had big confidence issues. At the time I believe I was 375-380lbs. My highest recorded weight was 375. In 2003, I saw this guy who was a lot heavier than me and noticed he was losing weight. We worked together. He told me he was doing weight watchers. Well, I decided to give it a try. Over the coarse of the year, I followed the program to a T. Well, by the end of the first year, I lost 100lbs on my own. However, I believe I lost the weight too fast. A year later, I gained more than half of it back. Trying to lose the weight again, I tried WW again but with no success. I’m not saying the program is bad but I believe my body had adjusted to the program. Over time, I tried everything but nothing seemed to work. I got back up to 325 lbs. Everything changed in late 2011" ...To be continued live with us listen to the rest of Larry's story with a happy ending!
