MoonMaid Botanicals and Cynthia, the #menopause herbalist, presents Women of a Certain Age and......   This is our opportunity to offer you information on a variety of topics that relate to the aging process.  This evening's topic is The Importance of Pelvic Health for a Healthy Sex Life with special guest, Dr. Sandy Bevacqua.

Dr. Sandra Bevacqua, a Ph.D. in Molecular and Cellular Biology, has worked as a research scientist at both the university and government levels. She has lectured as a scientist throughout the Americas, Canada, Europe, and Japan for medical professionals and has led hundreds of lectures and teleconferences for the public since 1986. Her work includes the completion of numerous publications for the University of Arizona Cancer Center, Temple University Center for Thrombotic Disorders and Los Alamos National Laboratory. She started her practice in 1998, where she educates her clients and their healthcare providers to understand how one’s diet, nutrition and lifestyle may be used effectively to balance blood chemistry thereby addressing many health concerns. She works closely with each client to create an individualized program which meets their specific needs and uses a natural approach to gently bring the body back into balance.

Most recently, Dr. Bevacqua has focused on developing educational programs in the field of Holistic Women’s Health. Frustrated by the lack of options available to women faced with pelvic health concerns she developed The Pelvic Health Transformation Program, Pregnancy and The Pelvic Floor, and The Mystery is Over! Understanding Female Sexual Health in which women of all ages receive the complete education and the techniques needed to naturally recover from pelvic floor discomfort, pain and loss of function due to organ prolapse, incontinence, pelvic pain syndrome, as well as sexual misunderstanding or dysfunction.
