Roman Catholicism is the official religion of Haiti, but voodoo may be considered the country's national religion. The majority of Haitians believe in and practice at least some aspects of voodoo. Most voodooists believe that their religion can coexist with Catholicism.
With the religion of Voodoo growing and so many incorporating aspects of Voodoo into their reference when dealing with the arts, it was only correct that I brought Haiti directly to you. For those who are willing and able to travel to the homeland, here is an overview of what to expect before your journey into this mysterious land.
