I love your perspective on Palin and moms who are overwhelmed! I agree that seemingly she was picked to tap the women vote. However, I think the McCain camp too picked her, because they desired to exploit her: external beauty, special needs child, and her family. The RNC spent $150,000 to dress the entire Palin family; clearly, they did it because of the class difference between the McCains and the Palins! If I were to contrast the two families, it is apparent that the Palins are not in the same league. Moreover, if she represents the Joe the plumbers of the world, why did the McCain embrace the RNC having wardrobe her and her family, are it because the Mccains wanted her to be likeminded in terms of her family's wardrobe. Why would she allow the camp to dictate to her how she and her family should dress? Was her taste in fashion that unacceptable? Was she not comfortable be the Palins of world?

Moms Against Palin

Moms Against Palin is a radio show that gives voice to mothers who are disappointed or angered by the Republican candidate for vice president. Governor Palin proudly portrays herself as a mother in the media, yet does not speak on any issues concerning mothers (other than abortion). With election day just moments away and October surprises still in store, it’s more important now than ever to truly bring mothers’ issues to the forefront and question our presidential and vice-presidential candidates on these matters. Host: Jillian Starr, stay at home mom. I’m a proud mother of a 17 month old, and like many mothers, my view of the world changed the day I first held my beautiful baby in my arms. I realize how hard it is for parents to raise children these days, for so many reasons. And I crave to make the world a better place for future generations.
