There are few things that help establish credibility as an expert better than writing a book and having it published. When it comes to selling yourself and your brand, a published book is something of a "big business card." After all, being a published author puts you in a distinguished group of people, much like having an advanced degree distinguishes you professionally from those who don't have one. And if you're blogging all the time anyway (and I just know you are ;-), why not pull it together into a book and make tons of money?

Today I'll talk about the pros and cons of writing a book, why you should or shouldn't do it, what having a book makes possible for you (and what it doesn't), and whether it makes sense to publish it yourself or find a traditional publisher.
