Cynthia Lett interviews Gary Wederspahn of Intercultural Business Solutions on the topic of Cross-Cultural Corporate Ethics. The globalization of the world's marketplace confronts today's corporation with many intercultural business challenges and problems. Meeting those challenges and solving those problems requires intercultural business solutions. Mr. Wederspahn's mission is giving companies a competitive edge that enables them to overcome cultural barriers and to profit from opportunities worldwide.

Since 1981, he has designed, developed and delivered a very broad range of cross-cultural programs for multinational companies, written over 70 articles, produced training materials and videos relating to intercultural training, and consulted on numerous international government and private sector projects.  His bookIntercultural Services: A Worldwide Buyer's Guide and Sourcebook, is available online.

He also has spent fourteen years living and working as an expatriate manager overseas. During most of that time, he was a Country Director responsible for the morale and productivity of up to 120 U.S. expatriates. His duties required him to deal with host country government, civic and business leaders at the highest levels. Business travel has taken Mr. Wederspahn to 29 countries in Latin America, the Far East, Middle East and Europe.
