    Not all of them, but I do know of far many nasty reports here. He would have been about 7ft I guess
    We have little ones here also
    I have a feeling there were two at the time, because of the sulphur smell as I got there. This one was still over the hill by that stage
    Could have also been the reason it came at me.

    Thants one of my thought processes. Otherwise it just didn't make sense, and there WAS a very pungent smell when I arrived of something that was already there. It didn't even stop to check me out - staright into attack mode from the second it saw me.

    Between 2 - 3am. I ventured away from the noise of base camp to listen to the sounds of the forest, and to hear if anything was going on out there - guess what? There WAS something going on! Scared the heck out of me.
    Just such a long way to run to get to me and I still had no chance

    Had a big head start, but my feet were glued to the ground! I was sitting down as it came over the moutain. I saw nothing untill it was all over me. Saw it best when we were chasing it, but it was very very dark.
    I didn't even know that I landed in a rock pool untill I was told. Thats how shaken up I was.

    and if so where would them bruses be located at on your body?

    Still don't know. There was a lot of it. I know I was rocking to the left and right as I was kicking in the air. Could have scored a few from the granite then.

    Queensland. There are heaps of them out at this place. Families of them. We're been playing with them out there since the 90's.

    They glowed a white/light gray color. We were watching it watch us and blinking as we followed him. Amazing.
    Like they were powered by AA batteries in the middle of the darkness

    How or why, dunno, however it obviously has something to do with their incred eye sight at night
    We all went after it after it got me.
    After my guys got to me, I pointed in the direction it went and they caught up with it, and then we caught up with the guys after I got dusted off.

    Yep, more mental I guess, however I still got banged up and wasn't thinking straight. It was still hanging around, so they caught up with it within no time. It wasn't far - I don't think it had finished with me - just interrupted.

    It was just walking around me. I did NOT want it to pick me up, so I kicked and yelled as much as I could to keep it off

    I was standing up straight on to it. Jogging backwards yelling at it to "Keep back... keep back.....). At the same time I was yelling for back up. I had dropped my Maglite and was standing in darkness, not that I think I could have truned it on anyway.
    It was just too darn fast.
    No fear at all.

    Even when we were folloing it, the darn thing would stop each time we would to show that it wasn't scared of us. He kept the same distance the entire time. Then if we stopped, it was like he would stop and say "Well, is that the best you have? What are you waiting for?"

    It hit me between the midddle of my chest to my right shoulder. God, I can't hardly even remember landing! It was a big hit and he did it at a great pace
    He didn't slow down one single bit all the way from the top of the hill, right the way down till hit connected. Not one bit - which was the scariest part about it.

The Dean Harrison Yowie Attack Hoax: There were animals around but were they yowies? The only thing seen by Harrison and the others was white eye shine (yowies are typically described as having red eye shine) nearby up a hill in the dark after the alleged "attack". Harrison claims to have noticed a powerful odour at a distance - unsupported by other witnesses at close range. Harrison claims to have been struck in the chest by something he didn't see (How can he estimate it's size?) while it was running at full sprint knocking Harrison back 12 feet. He posted pictures of the supposed resulting bruises which show no marks on his chest or torso. Significant bruising only on thighs - one on the inner thigh appears to be an abrasion while the other appears to show he was struck with a object with a defined edge. Bruising does not support his claims. Harrison has withdrawn his claim of being attacked after being knocked down. Harrison claimed he and his team chased the creature with eye shine - unsupported by other witnesses. The next morning Harrison "found" and cast a human footprint and presented it as evidence. Another cast print bears no resemblance to any sort of footprint. Harrison and his team had been drinking heavily throughout the night. Dean Harrison = Australian Tom Biscardi. Hoax! Next time ask some probing questions which might reveal what really happened that night. Harrison's "evidence" has been suspect for years and he will continue seeking false glory if unchallenged.

Great interview!!!!! The eyes really caught my attention. Pat Rance and I observed that on a couple of nights in the South. Their eyes were like crystals glowing in the dark. Changed colors & sizes before our eyes. It was fascinating. Would love to hear more about this encounter. I wonder if it was young ones or perhaps an older one that might be feeble or injured by someone, fitting Dean's general description. Mistaken identity if you will. Blessings Crow
