Are You Ready with Joe Martinez and Joe Rizzo on the MMA DieHards Radio Network welcomes WEC lightweight contender Anthony Pettis and Bart Palaszewski. Pettis will fight Ben Henderson on Dec. 16 at WEC 53, the final event in the promotion's history. The winner of that battle not only becomes the WEC champion emeritus, but also gets a shot at the winner of the UFC lightweight title match between champion Frankie Edgar and Gray Maynard. Palaszewski is fighting Kamal Shalorus on WEC 53 in a key matchup in the lightweight division. Palaszewski is the only person to defeat Pettis, doing it for the second of his victories during his current four-fight winning streak.
