“Da Groove is a mix between old school show ‘Soul Train’ and new school show ‘The View’,” said Terrance Hackley, one of the Executive Producers.

The segment Hot Topics has a panel of CMG superiors focusing on current events and offering industry advice while "Word on the Street" is a segment gaining the viewers’ perspectives. Celebrity interviews and exclusive performances from artists also allow viewers to get a peek into the industry’s up-and-coming talent. At the end of each show, “Da Groove” features some of the hottest dancers who put together a free-for-all dance battle.
