On Today’s episode of Mixed Race Radio we will meet Tiffany Harding-Catledge, a married mother of six beautiful children ranging in age from 15 to her 6 year old twins. Tiffany resides in Southern California with her family and is here to discuss her first book, Mixed Me, which is the first book in her planned Mixed Me series.
Tiffany Catledge is the daughter of Judy & Art Harding, who were pioneers in mixing the world back in the 60's. She has always held an interest in culture, ethnicity and diversity and received her Bachelor's Degree in Intercultural Communications from Arizona State University.
Tiffany wrote the Mixed Me book series focused on a storyline that was not available to her while she was growing up. Therefore, she decided to self-publish "her" story so that all children can explore the life experience of a “Mixie” and learn to interact with diverse children in communities and homes near and far. Tiffany hopes that Mixed Me will prove to be a blueprint that will enable others to identify with her own diverse family and see the beauty in all of the mixes of the world!
Join us today as we discuss motherhood and the mixed experience, how mixed children are portrayed in the media, and the genesis of the Mixed Me book series.
