Call in to speak with the host
Shawn aka Misspharmdee talks to Jeff Burrell, President of The Extraordinary League a non profit organization based in Atlanta, Georgia. We'll talk about how he turned his vision into A MOVEMENT.
The Extraordinary League is comprised of young African American professionals who in an effort to change the social landscape of Atlantas youth, have combined and focused their interests, talents, and passion in helping their communities through varying philanthropic opportunities. The League believes it has the ability to bring about change in the community by discussing and acting on issues that are pertinent to the people affected.
Whether its hosting a fundraiser for its annual scholarship program, walking to raise money to fight Multiple Sclerosis, or leading their signature Intellectual Tuesdays, Extraordinary League is committed to being an organization that impacts all those who cross their paths. With that mission in mind, the League has begun an aggressive effort to specifically target the youth of metro-Atlanta. The implementation of H.E.D.S., Health, Education, Development, and Sports program, is simply the beginning of ELs effort to combat the issues that negatively affect urban youth.
This is a no holds barred show about issues concern young black professional women. Topics range from career advancement, goalsetting and education to relationships and entertainment news foolery.
It's good to talk.
