An Urgent call went out..we had a Missing War Fighter in Idaho. Little did anyone know at the time, it would change several peoples lives , and inspire them to never let another Warfighter go missing without us Stepping in and going into action to find them. Erik Jorgensen sent his family a heartbreaking text from his phone, indicating that he wanted to end his life. He was suffering from PTS and TBI at the time. His Battle with the PTS and TBI was wearing him down, and he felt like he could not take it for one more day. Several Warfighter groups, organizations, and individuals, all pulled together to strategise a search to find him in time. His family was en route from California and we needed to take action. Several road blocks were thrown up and hindered our efforts to find Erik. Law Enforcement refused to work with us and to put a search party together. They hindered media covering the case, and we were left to our own devices. Several outside Organizations pulled together along with members of the community, and we went to work. Through the weekend, several areas were covered, and people scurried through the Mountains, and through areas that they thought he may have went. We were only able to get 1 news Media to cover the case and to let the Community know that one of Warfighters were missing. Fliers blanketed the town, and all efforts were made to find Erik in time... BUT we were to late. On this Show, we have Erik's Mother Cindy joining us to give you an amazing insight to who Erik was as a person, his passion, his struggles and more. We vowed to never let Erik's death go in vein and worked together to create a bill to change the laws so that we are able to help others live and not meet the same fate as Erik. Also on the show, 2 special guests about the programs and support system that is out there right now for our Battles in Distress and also many other resources come from Warrior Pointe.
