Family, I was moved to do a show based specifically on why , in the black community, we just can't seem to get it right anymore. There were times, even when social injustices were seen as 'fair', when we as black people in America at least knew where our loyalties lie. When white people were against us for generations on end up until (and supposedly officially) just 45 years ago with the inception of the Civil Rights Movement, we were FOR the BETTERMENT of each other. Why and how is it that we've managed to fall so far so fast? Sub topics: Black on Black crime, 70% out of wedlock births *as it pertains to multiple parentage*, The disconnect between black men and black women *communication wise*, The ever-climbing divorce rate, How do we get it back?
