Dawn Angelique Roberts, a Philadelphia native, holds a commendable reputation as one of Philadelphia’s most dynamic public relations practitioners. Dawn is co-founder and managing partner for KD Communications Group.
KD Communications is a full-service communications firm with offices in Delaware, Maryland and Pennsylvania. The firm specializes in event management, media relations and speaker placement.
Dawn’s warm and gracious demeanor is embodied in her demonstrated passion for her profession. For over five years, she has taught journalism and public relations courses at Temple and Delaware State University
For projects dear to her heart, Dawn is always up to the challenge. Paralleling her years as a public relations practitioner, Dawn possesses a strong commitment to her role as board member for the National Black Public Relations Society (NBPRS). She served as the national chair for the student track for the 2007 NBPRS annual conference hosted in Philadelphia. With issues pertaining to children and families, including her role as a mentor for youth at her church, Mt. Carmel Baptist Church and in the community, she is unwavering.
Among her professional accomplishments, Dawn was featured in the Philadelphia Tribune Magazine’s Most Influential African Americans; a Member Spotlight for the Philadelphia Convention and Visitor’s Bureau’s Multicultural Affairs Congress, highlighted in A Day In The Life in PR Week and received the DeAnn White Award for Community Service from the Public Relations Society of America.
